It is the longest cave of Turkey and with its millions year old stalactite and dickites, water flow and waterfalls, it is a very important touristic place. It is located in Akçaabat, 30 km far away from the centre. The cave is 1 km long and visitors are able to walk 550 m of it.
It has a great natural beauty thanks to its moist and foggy atmosphere. Plateaus are the favourite places in the hottest days of the season. There are charming views and you are able to observe the jungle life and snap unique pictures.
The Sepulcher of Hackali Hoca Baba, one of the greatest saints who lived in The Black Sea Region, is also in our plateau and adds a spiritual value to it. Every year, in this place, the Municipality of Duzkoy organizes activities for the remembrence of Haçkalı Hoca Baba. This states that our plateau is in an important position for the development of religious tourism.
